Aus Remodel is a trading name of C Kelly & CO PTY LTD (ABN 82653945183). We operate strictly as a lead generation and marketing service. We are not a licensed builder, contractor, or tradesperson. We do not carry out building work, renovations, extensions, or any other construction services. We do not hold a builder's licence in any Australian state or territory.

We do not verify licences or insurance

Aus Remodel does not independently verify, validate, or guarantee that any builder, contractor, or tradesperson introduced to you through our service holds a current builder's licence, public liability insurance, home warranty insurance, or any other professional accreditation required by law. It is solely your responsibility to:

• Confirm the builder holds a valid licence in your state or territory;
• Request and verify current certificates of currency for public liability and home warranty insurance;
• Check references, past work, and any disciplinary or regulatory history;
• Enter into a written contract that complies with applicable consumer protection and building laws.

Independent contractors

Any builder, contractor, or tradesperson matched through Aus Remodel is an independent third party. They are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of C Kelly & CO PTY LTD or Aus Remodel. We do not supervise, direct, or control their work, pricing, scheduling, or conduct.

No liability for builder conduct or workmanship

To the maximum extent permitted by law, C Kelly & CO PTY LTD (trading as Aus Remodel) and its directors, officers, employees, and agents:

• Are not liable for any act, omission, default, negligence, or misconduct of any builder, contractor, or tradesperson introduced via our service;
• Make no representation or warranty as to the quality, suitability, timeliness, legality, or completeness of any building work, quote, or contract;
• Are not responsible for any loss, damage, cost, delay, or dispute arising from your engagement with a matched builder, including defective workmanship, property damage, personal injury, or breach of contract;
• Are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Quotes are not binding on us

Any quote, estimate, or price indication provided by a builder introduced through Aus Remodel is an offer from that independent builder only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or finality of any quote. We are not a party to any contract or agreement you enter into with a builder.

No guarantee of outcomes

We do not guarantee that we will be able to match you with a builder, that any matched builder will provide a quote, that quotes will be competitive, or that any project will be completed to a particular standard, timeframe, or budget. Our service is limited to facilitating an introduction between you and potential contractors.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this disclaimer is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify the application of any provision of the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) that cannot be lawfully excluded, restricted, or modified. Where we are entitled to limit our liability under the Australian Consumer Law, our liability is limited to supplying the relevant service again or paying the cost of having the service supplied again.

Governing law

This disclaimer is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this disclaimer or our service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
